Our client is a leading European distribution platform of B2C products and services. In a context of ambitious expansion in 8 european countries, we are looking for a UX lead a responsible for the creation of a best-in-class online user experience.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will act as ambitious UX leader able to bring huge impact on an exciting, fast-growth business.

Beyond a proven track record designing applications with complex workflows for B2C consumer users and acting as a design lead and/or manager (6 years as a minimum), I am seeking someone with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, able to interact with multiple stakeholders and a strong level of curiosity. You have a high taste for challenge and building innovative adventures (everything remains to be done !), consolidating local and international markets and working with modern tech plateforms.

Your main missions are the following:

Strategic vision

Your main mission will be to build, grow and take charge of a UX team, and work with the business, product and technical stakeholders (engineering, developers) to invent solutions that address consumer experience challenges and boost conversion rate. You will lead the planning and execution of user research to inform requirements, shape designs, and evaluate final products. You will scope and manage work on assigned initiatives, including required design tasks and estimated time and resource needs.  Conducting some benchmarking projects and assessment of external best practice is also part of your missions.

You will serve as the UX lead for the brand and all other company brands across countries.

Operations

You will own and drive the user experience from an international perspective, coaching your team, and providing hands-on delivery of design deliverables. You will create solutions that scale, utilizing multiple tools and techniques to communicate your ideas.

The idea is to take overall responsibility for analyzing customer behaviours, identify UX problems and/or unmet customer needs to improve onsite conversion (CR%) and drive higher customer repeat : incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design, and performing metrics analysis post-launch ; driving improvements in conversion rate as well higher NPS, and balancing between these objectives. Close collaboration with frontend developers on building design system (based on brand identity) is expected.

You will be in charge of driving the AB testing priorities and data decisions, customer insight and thorough testing where possible ; quickly and iteratively creating high quality design solutions with deliverables that effectively communicate the intended design (journey maps, user flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, detailed design specifications, or other design artifacts).

Cross-functional role and management

Your ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in France and accross countries is essential : partnering with product and engineering teams ; working closely with frontend developers, marketing and sales teams.

The managerial dimension is crucial : you will lead and motivate a high-performance UX team (4 people). This team is recent, so you will be responsible for training, recruitment while being involved with them.
