Data Architect Manager

Our client, a french leader of the FMCG market, is engaged in an ambitious digital transformation plan. The modernization of the tech landscape of the company is a key factor to meet these objectives. The Group data team is in charge of defining the strategy, supporting entities in implementing it and to coordinate strategic programs to accelerate massively on the data transformation.

We seek an expert on Data modeling & design topics with track record in data architecture (data governance, data security, data warehouse, data lake…). Someone experienced in setting-up modern data architecture in the cloud would be highly appreciated. A retail industry experience would be a plus.

You will join a Data Strategy & Governance team and help them tackle the exciting challenges to accelerate this data transformation.

Your main assignements would be :

Strategic vision

You define data architecture principles to fulfill the analytics business ambition.

You identify and ensure the implementation of required data solutions for analytics (data platform, dataviz, data governance).

You formalize technical standards and best practices in line with global data strategy.

You must stay up to date on new tools & techniques in the data field.

Operational development

You foster data architecture best practices within teams (at a corporate and national level).

You translate business requirements into architecture and integrate them into long-term strategy, in other words you consider yourself as an outstanding problem solver.

Knowledge of Google Cloud data stack (Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage…) is a must !

You are familiar with BI / Data viz tools (MicroStrategy, Looker…) and Machine learning technologies (jupyter, tensor flow…).

Crossfunctional interactions

You know how to explain and popularize complex technical concepts while using your ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences (including C-levels),

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in both, French and English are compulsory
