                                                        Global Head, Digital Partnerships

                                                                       Based in Paris

 

 

The Global Head, Digital Partnerships is responsible for identifying, structuring, closing and managing major strategic partnerships with the biggest names in tech, ecommerce and financial services. The role requires an experienced business development professional and sector expert capable of identifying scalable business opportunities, building strategic alignment and go to market plans to solve customer internal business challenges and/ or boost the company’s own capabilities. This new position reports to the newly created Global Head, Open Innovation function.

 

Your missions :

 

  • Identify, assess, and lead new strategic partnerships opportunities with mature tech players (mostly GAFAM and BATX) contributing to the company's innovation and growth strategy
     
  • Lead negotiations with partners and with internal stakeholders and develop all relevant documentation (LOI, MOU, terms sheets, contracts, etc.)
     
  • Coordinate internal resources (e.g. Business, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Procurement) and third parties for a flawless execution of the partnership and ensure appropriate follow-up of actions by all stakeholders involved (internal and external)
     
  • Establish day to day and senior business relationships with partners and maintain roadmaps to ensure continuous growth of services and platforms
     
  • Ensure alignment on strategy and execution on agreed projects as well as appropriate reporting on progress and allocation of means and resources
     
  • Own the partnerships lifecycle process post close, including onboarding to ongoing growth and account management
     
  • Define best practice for partnership identification, onboarding and implementations
     
  • Build and lead the relevant Account Management team
     
  • Stay on top of technology trends, which impact the financial services industry and help Senior Leadership to identify future opportunities for digital partnerships
     
  • Be an evangelist to promote partnerships as a way of doing business; develop communication strategy and plan to proactively engage key stakeholders

Profil requis

  • The ability to understand the business requirements and expectations of banks, merchants, regulators and digital players through a blend of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence
     
  • Excellent deal negotiation and commercial structuring skills
     
  • Exceptional team player and proven ability to work cross-functionally
     
  • The ability to understand tech and a keen interest in technology trends
     
  • First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level
     
  • Excellent documentation skills
     
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
     
  • Collaborative, positive and self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
     
  • Curious, humble, “no task is too small” mindset
